Kirkham-Smith Consultants (K-SC) provides professional learning and development, facilitation and executive coaching consultancy services to the emergency management and volunteer emergency services industry. K-SC provides capacity building solutions for individuals and organisations based on identified needs. • Learning and Development projects include reviews of nationally recognised training and assessment resources to ensure alignment to the appropriate units of competency, skill sets or qualifications; the development of learning and assessment strategies aligned to the Australian Qualifications Framework, in addition to ‘just in time’ professional development activities not requiring alignment to the current national training framework. • Facilitation and Research services have been added as part of strategic communication services with a focus on emergency services and emergency management agencies and activities. A particular passion for Andy revolves around working with communities and individuals who are recovering from the impacts of emergencies and disasters. Andy facilitates a weekly healthy lifestyle session for over 50 participants as part of his own personal ‘work-life’ balance strategy.
