Kinky set the trend in the retail store concept, with our first store opening its doors in Johannesburg in 1971. With over 20 retail stores in South Africa, we understand our consumers require variety and options. Thus, with over 1,000 SKUs ranging from wigs, human hair, add on, synthetic weft pieces, braids and extensions, we cater to our consumer's specific needs. Our values at Kinky are simple - quality, fashion, range, accessibility and affordability - and we strive to offer this to our consumers. We are strongly invested in our business in South Africa and have recently set up our own in-house manufacturing facility, at our premises in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. We are very proud of our over 70 team members and our aspiration is to make Kinky Group a truly inspiring place to work. At Kinky, we not only provide employment to those directly employed by our stores and factory, but also support small business entrepreneurship through our association with hairstylists and salons.
