Kingston Downs is a family-owned and operated 5,000+ acre property situated on the Etowah River, conveniently located a few miles outside of Rome, GA, and 45 minutes north of metro Atlanta. The property showcases undisturbed woodlands, open fields, nature trails, and riverfront access, making it the ideal location for outdoor recreation, special events, weddings, and weekend getaways. With solid infrastructure and an abundance of fields, almost any event can be hosted at Kingston Downs. With an open-air space, our Pavilion is perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, and special occasions. Known as the host of Atlanta Steeplechase for over 20 years, Kingston Downs has also been the location of music festivals and other large events. Three unique cottages offer a tranquil escape, with everything you need for an idyllic retreat. The porches overlook a wildflower meadow that blooms April to June and September to October. Guests will enjoy access to our private hiking and mountain biking trails along the Etowah River and through the woods.
