Arts Alliance Illinois fights for arts resources and policies that benefit our members and all Illinois residents. As the only statewide, multidisciplinary organization concentrated on the strength of arts and culture, the Alliance takes on challenges that no single organization or artist can face alone.
Arts Alliance Illinois envisions a world where the arts are central and indispensable to Illinois, where people acknowledge that the arts enhance their quality of life, fuel creativity and innovation, sharpen the state’s competitive edge, attract and retain talent, promote cross-cultural understanding, aid in solving civic and social issues, and keep Illinois nationally and globally connected.
Our focus areas include:
• Statewide civic engagement, through which we position arts and culture as a source of creative solutions to a broad range of challenges.
• Arts education, through which we promote arts-centered learning and the development of a creative and adaptive workforce.
• Cultural equity, through which we foster equitable access to and participation in arts and culture, and advance historically neglected or marginalized forms of expression.
Founded in 1987, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is the regional arts agency for Barnstable County. Our mission is to support and strengthen a vibrant and diverse arts and cultural sector for everyone in the region.
We serve individual artists, cultural centers, fine and performing arts groups and businesses, and cultural and historical establishments such as museums and historical societies.
Our work is focused on increasing access to the arts, strengthening community, empowering individuals to pursue meaningful careers in the arts, fueling innovation, and driving economic growth.

The North Carolina Arts Council is the state arts agency that brings the arts to all people in all communities. The North Carolina Arts Council launched its work in 1967 as awareness for the importance of arts to all citizens was becoming a national movement. In the ensuing nearly 50 years the arts in North Carolina have come to be valued as one of our state’s most durable and productive assets. We reach into all 100 counties through one of the most highly developed and effective networks of local arts councils in our nation. Artists and institutions improve quality of life, educate and inspire our youth, and stimulate an extraordinary amount of economic activity.
