At King of Kings, God gives us many opportunities to serve our congregation and community. Royal Praise, is the worship band for our 11:00 Sunday Service. Comprised of several talented and committed individuals who bring a passion for worship and music, our mission of Royal Praise is to provide music of the highest possible quality while providing an opportunity for intimate and joyful worship so God is glorified and God's people are edified. We also conduct training programs and outreach events such as our summer night concerts for our community. We support other areas of ministry in our church for exemple leading worship for special services. This coming year some of our plans include:- A complete U2 worship experience- Night of Praise concert- Summer night concert and BBQ- Weekend worship getawayJunior Choir? What does Junior Choir do? We SHOUT OUT God's love in a way that only those under the age of 10 can do. If you have a boy or a girl in your family that likes to sing, this is the group for you. We meet on a regular basis to practice our favorite songs and enjoy each others company. We would love to have your child join us. Please see the calendar of events for the next time we meet and come join us! Our Junior Choir provides a fun place for kids to belong and a place to sing of their love for God. We sing music that is geared to children's understanding and hearts. The selections have been composed by some of the best children's music composers in our nation today. Our choir is a Choristers Guild Choir, supporting Christian values and the building of Christian Character through music. The music is carefully chosen for worthy text and tunes to present as our offering to God. Our goal then in Junior Choir is to build "life-long" worshippers, as this is God's goal for us here on earth and in heaven. When the children sang in the temple, Jesus described their song as "perfect praise". This is best started at an early age. How do we do this? Each week we play musical games, learn how to read music and also learn how to sing well. We end each rehearsal with a prayer and a snack. We sing for services about twice a month.
