Kindred Works is tackling the housing crisis and climate change because it is smart and necessary. Currently we are developing over 20 active residential rental projects across our portfolio where one-third will aim to be at below market rent rates to meet the Core Housing Need of the local communities where we build. We plan to deliver 20,000 rental homes by 2037 and are working to be Carbon Neutral by 2030. We believe that rental housing can provide the kind of lasting security and stability that individuals and communities need so they can realize their potential. Since we develop and manage each of our projects, we can make long term impacts that drive positive change in the industry and community. Our projects respond to issues of housing affordability and the climate crisis, and answer community space and service needs. We promote sustainability, community economic development and advance social initiatives that benefit our communities, workplace and the common good.
