KiloWatts for Humanity (KWH) is a nonprofit based in Seattle, WA whose mission is to improve people's lives by providing access to electricity and fostering the development of sustainable businesses. Our volunteers offer mentorship and resources to empower less economically developed communities for lasting change. KWH offers services of electrification, sustainable business, and remote monitoring. These are accomplished through installations of renewable energy kiosks, or micro-grids, in rural, off-grid communities of less economically developed countries around the world. KWH is a member of the United Nations Foundation Minigrid High-Impact Opportunity group under the Sustainable Energy for All Initiative.
