Kibaran (ASX:KNL) is developing its Epanko natural graphite deposit in Tanzania and battery (spherical) graphite development programme with the aim to be major producer of premium, large flake for the traditional and battery graphite for the Lithium-ion battery market. The Epanko graphite project and downstream manufacturing of battery graphite are long-life, highly profitable, scalable businesses. Graphite is a major component of the Lithium-ion battery and the company has recently developed a proprietary eco-friendly purification process (EcoGraf) for the production of its battery (Spherical) graphite. EcoGraf is a green environmentally friendly process and is commercially viable alternative to the existing Chinese supply. The demand for battery graphite is increasing rapidly and the company expects both the Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage markets will demand a socially and environmentally friendly source of key raw materials. Kibaran is listed on both the ASX and Frankfurt exchanges. Further information can be found at www.kibaranresources.com
