The Kansas Health Insurance Cooperative (KHIC) is a fully operational trust organized to provide employee benefits to participating Kansas employers. Our mission is to mitigate rising health insurance costs for our members. KHIC was established in 2010 as a subsidiary of the HIC Agency, whose partners include David Hickman, president of Heart of America Benefits Services and Roger Harnisch, the principal of Double Eagle Insurance Services. As President of Heart of America Benefits Services, David has been consulting with employers in the Midwest since 1993, offering personalized insurance solutions to alleviate the rising costs of group health benefits. Roger of Double Eagle Insurance Services has served Kansas health care providers for over twenty years, delivering insurance solutions specifically designed for the market.
