With average annual income as low as just 1.25lac($1600-$1700), the food providers face hurdles in making the bare minimum money to make their ends meet. The problems has multiple levels, mostly around how the ecosystem doesn't support the farmers. Indian farmers lose 10-15% of their potential income in the post-harvest value chain due to these inefficiencies which accumulates to ~$15 billion/year, and that is only because they do not have the access to the right buyers who will purchase their produce at a fair price. KhetiM is a hyper-local agri marketplace, working to give Indian farmers a choice to sell their produce to the right buyer at the right price, and to finally win. We connect farmers to multiple buyers directly, helping them get a fair evaluation and price of the produce sitting at home, with just a tap on their phone.
