WCMH-TV is owned by Nexstar Media Group, Inc. and is an affiliate station of NBC. In April 1949, NBC4 (WCMH-TV), then WLW-C, debuted on Channel 3, becoming the first television station in Columbus. Not only was WCMH-TV the first in Columbus, but in all of Central Ohio.
