What we do. We’re all about making education effective and accessible. We help clients like school districts, ministries and Crown corporations overcome barriers to learning and create education or training solutions. We’ve designed and developed everything – from learning resources for first graders to online training for the workplace. You’ll usually hear us chatting about instructional design, educational resource development or online course offerings and hosting. How we do it. Building solutions that inspire learners is no small task. Our work environment is critical to this so we keep things collaborative and creative all the time. This makes it easier to listen well, think out loud and generate big ideas. Really, there’s no “secret sauce” to what we do. We’re just passionate about turning ideas into reality and we use our tried-and-true development model to churn out award winning creations. Who we are. Our go-to team has a range of skills specializing in e-learning, multi-media and video, and print and online courses. Everyone is open about sharing their knowledge, skills and talent — pulling together to deliver top-notch stuff. From project kickoff through to launch day, our project managers, media developers and technicians are with our clients every step of the way. On a personal note, our Victoria office environment reflects the local West Coast vibe – it’s relaxed and comfy. Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI) is an independent national charity committed to improving mathematics education. We support the teaching, learning and assessment of maths. We do this directly, through partnerships, and by influencing and advising on national policy relating to maths education. We aim to develop confidence and enjoyment in maths, inspiring teachers and students to further their understanding and education in the subject. Our support for maths education includes: • developing curriculum specifications and schemes of assessment • providing professional development opportunities for teachers • offering tuition and enrichment for students • publishing teaching and learning resources, including Integral, our online platform Most of our work relates to the education of 11–18 year-olds, although we also support the teaching and learning of maths in primary, adult and higher education. MEI manages the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP), a government-funded initiative which aims to improve teaching and increase participation in secondary maths. MEI assists in the leadership of the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM), which aims to raise achievement in maths across all years of education. We employ a highly committed team of staff. Our maths education specialists have a deep expertise in the teaching and learning of maths. They are based throughout England, which facilitates our engagement with teachers and students both locally and nationally. These colleagues are supported by a team of administrative, financial and technical staff working at our office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. We also have trustees who serve as directors of the charity. They are committed to ensuring that MEI’s corporate governance is strong and our work is true to our values. Our work is supported by members, and by schools and colleges that have registered with us, free of charge, as MEI Educational Associates.

At Anspear, we create impactful, accessible education solutions. Our work spans three-year online degree programmes developed with university partners, as well as widely used professional development libraries that support teachers and teaching assistants at every stage of their careers. With our powerful LMS platform and proven learning design methodology, Anspear helps its partners design, build, deliver and evaluate high-impact learning experiences. Whether they are starting from scratch or enhancing existing material, we turn ideas into engaging, results-driven online learning.
