We offer a comprehensive continuum of care, often extending throughout a person's lifetime. Our services are categorized into three main areas: Adult Behavioral Health Services, including residential and community-based programs; Children’s Services, encompassing Early Intervention, Education, and Children’s Behavioral Health; and I/DD Services, providing extensive support through group homes and various non-residential programs.
Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (Community Care) is a non-profit and federally tax-exempt behavioral health managed care organization, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Incorporated in 1996, Community Care was created by a leadership team whose clinical experiences as behavioral health providers compelled them to create a company whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the community through the delivery of effective, cost-efficient, and accessible behavioral health services.
Community Care is dedicated to facilitating the ongoing evolution of the behavioral health system toward one that embraces the journey of healing and transformation; empowering individuals with behavioral health problems to live meaningful lives in the communities of their choosing, while striving to achieve personal goals. CSG was founded in 1972 with the goal of providing community-based mental health and intellectual & developmental disability (IDD) services throughout Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
