Whether we are building true custom homes or renovating a project to reach its full potential, we aim to exceed standards throughout the Tidewater area, including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Hickory, Suffolk and surrounding areas. Chris Sewell started his career in 1975 building high-end luxury custom homes throughout Laguna Hills and Newport Beach in Orange Co., CA. In 1979, he formed his own contracting company and quickly gained invaluable experience in every facet of the industry, from commercial to high-rise apartment construction, by building over 300 units in Long Beach, CA. In 1987, he shifted focus to the skills that set him apart from the competition: custom and remodeled homes. Chris' keen understanding of quality craftsmanship means he can easily spot any sign of potential trouble and correct the problem without sacrificing unnecessary time or expenses. Along with his wife, Linda, Chris moved to Chesapeake, VA in 1992. After 38 years of marriage, two daughters, one grandchild and another on the way, they still approach each new project with the same enthusiasm and passion as they did in 1975. Chris and Linda have been active members of Southside Builders Association, National Association of Home Builders and NAHB Builder 20 Club. They have also volunteered time and professional knowledge to Habitat for Humanity, International Cooperating Ministries, Great Commission Ministries and other humanitarian/missions projects. Chris and Linda strive to exceed current building expectations by delivering the highest quality, energy-efficient homes by building 100% of their homes to minimize living costs while maximizing the quality of your environment.
