Adventure Canada is a family-run travel company with more than thirty years’ experience specializing in small-ship cruises to the world’s more remote coastlines. We engage, educate, and entertain by connecting people to each other and the land through travel. We travel to the best places, with the best people, in the best way. Our pioneering approach to expedition cruises and small-group experiences emphasizes wildlife, culture, learning, and fun.
By travelling with local experts, learned scholars, scientists, artists, and expedition specialists, we hope to help our clients open their minds and hearts. We know we’ve succeeded when our clients become ambassadors for the places we visit, the cultures we get to know, the animals and the environment we appreciate along the way—and the planet itself!
We build our expedition team around the knowledge and experience of a team of culturalists, many of whom call the regions to which we travel their homes. With their guidance, we gain locals’ perspective while giving back to communities.
The Keewaydin Foundation provides camping experiences and challenges that help children achieve significant personal growth by living in a community, being independent and living simply in rustic and natural settings.
Founded as a canoe tripping camp in the northern wilds of Maine in 1893, by A.S. Gregg Clarke, Keewaydin is among the oldest summer camps in North America. Today, the Keewaydin Foundation runs three summer camps, Keewaydin Dunmore in Vermont, Keewaydin Temagami in Ontario, and Songadeewin in Vermont. The Foundation also operates the Keewaydin Environmental Education Center in Vermont and Ojibway Family Lodge in Ontario.
