Kenneth Gilbert, MD Information

Dr. Kenneth P. Gilbert is a board-certified plastic surgeon, practicing in Quincy, MA, since May 1, 1986. Dr. Gilbert has been recognized in the “Guide to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons”, “The Guide to America’s Top Surgeons” and in the listing of “Boston Area’s Top Doctors”. Dr. Gilbert’s practice encompasses both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgical procedures. Dr. Gilbert maintains licensure in both MA and CA. He is on the active staff of Milton Hospital, in Milton, MA, Quincy Medical Center, in Quincy, MA and South Shore Hospital in S. Weymouth, MA. In addition, Dr. Gilbert holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Boston University and is a part-time attending in the Veteran’s Administration Boston Medical System. Dr. Gilbert is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, the New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Gilbert attended the University of Washington as an undergraduate and medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, graduating in May, 1979. Dr. Gilbert received his general surgical training at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA and then his plastic surgical training at Boston University.
