Ken Ungar Architect Information

Since 1989, Ken Ungar, Architect has been creating luxury estates for homeowners, primarily in the West Los Angeles areas of Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Cheviot Hills, Beverlywood, and Beverly Hills. A licensed architect in California and Arizona, Ken Ungar specializes in the design of high end single family custom homes. He is personally responsible for all aspects of the architectural process, including the design, construction drawings, permitting, and construction observation. Holding a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, Ken Ungar has won a number of prestigious awards including: 1994 "Gold Nugget" for "Best Home Under 6000 Square Feet," West Coast Builders Association "Log Home Design Ideas" magazine "Sharing the Dream" contest winner, 2000 Over the course of his career, Ken has designed more than 200 new custom homes in the areas noted above. As a result, Ken is very familiar with all the governmental requirements and guidelines necessary to get a house designed and built. Ken has designed numerous homes occupied by discerning clients, including many celebrities. In addition, many of Ken's homes have been featured in television shows and commercials, including one of Ken's homes on the television show Curb Your Enthusiasm where many interior and exterior scenes were filmed.
