Keith Gunn, Managing Director of Keith Gunn Electrical Services Ltd served a 5 year apprenticeship with Eastern Electric of Edinburgh. After working for a number of Electrical Companies gaining experience, he started working for R and S Robertson as Workshop Supervisor and remained with the Company for many years in the role of Technical Director. The Company at that time had a showroom at 44 Queen Street, Edinburgh and Keith was employed to work alongside the Directors designing and constructing light fittings. He has the ability to identify chandeliers for valuation, re-furbishment, re-build and repair regardless of time period. He established his own Company in 1993 based on a lighting contract to design and install the specialist lighting at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh. Today the Company has a small team of highly competent electricians headed by Keith and Senior Engineer, Craig Scott. We have been involved in a number of prestigious projects such as The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, Blythswood Square and The Corinthian, Glasgow, Abbotsford House, Melrose and Eilean Donan Castle, Lochalsh. These are only a few of the many high profile jobs the Company has taken on recently. While it is a great privilege to be involved in these historic projects, this is only a part of the work the Company carries out. We are happy to take on domestic projects of any size or shape and aim to bring the same level of expertise, care and attention to changing a single light fitting in a cottage as we do to hanging a vast chandelier in a castle. Above all our team are reliable, competent, friendly and knowledgeable individuals who bring great care and attention to every project, taking pride in a job well done and a happy customer.
