The Keio Innovation Initiative is a venture company AdipoSeeds that aims to quickly put into practical use a culture technology that creates a large amount of platelets from subcutaneous fat tissue established by a research group of Specially Appointed Associate Professor Center for Clinical Research Promotion, Keio University School of Medicine. We supported the establishment of the company and made an investment from a fund operated by our company. While Specially Appointed Associate Professor Matsubara and others will continue to carry out research and development within Keio University, AdipoSeeds will conduct intellectual property management, overseas marketing research, etc., and will replace platelet transfusion and promote wound healing. We aim to put it to practical use for medical purposes.
