Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is an innovation-led and graduate-focused Research University with campuses strategically located across Malaysia. Its presence spans Kuala Lumpur, the nation’s capital city; Johor Bahru, the southern gateway in the vibrant economic corridor of Iskandar Malaysia; and Pagoh, a growing education hub in northern Johor. Established in 1920 with the name “Technische Hogeschool”, Institut Teknologi Bandung—or ITB for short—is the oldest technical university in Indonesia. Located in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia, at Jalan Ganesa number 10, ITB now has 12 faculties or schools with 50 bachelor study programs, 52 master’s programs, 27 doctor’s programs, and 2 professional programs. ITB’s vision is to be an outstanding, distinguished, independent, and internationally recognized university that leads changes towards welfare improvement of Indonesian nations and the world. Since 2014, under the leadership of Professor Kadarsah Suryadi as the rector, Institut Teknologi Bandung has declared to move from research university towards entrepreneurial university. Its purpose is to produce excellent graduates who are ready to be professional employees, excellent researchers in their fields, and great entrepreneurs whose products and researches can be applied in society.
