Kedron State High School Competitors

Balmoral State High School was established in 1958. Over many decades, this great secondary school has provided the education thousands of students have needed to begin their careers or move on to further study. Students who graduate from this school have access to the full range of post-school options—tertiary study, training or the workforce. Balmoral State High School is situated on ten hectares in Balmoral, approximately six kilometres from the Brisbane city centre. The school is well serviced by bus and rail transport. Our enthusiastic and caring staff of teachers, support personnel and education related professionals, support and guide our students to grow socially, emotionally and experience academic success. We foster intellectual, social, physical and cultural development in young people. We strive to challenge and enrich the lives of students so that they may reach their full potential. Our students are encouraged to accept responsibility and develop independence and self-discipline through our values-rich core expectations.
