KDP Promotions is the trading name used to promote the work of St Peter's Craft Press. St Peter's Craft Press keeps alive the craft and skills of letterpress printing which up until the mid-1960's was the main production method used for general printing - pioneered by William Caxton and his contemporaries over 500 years ago! Although today the principle process employed for general printing is Offset Lithography there are still a few specialist areas where Letterpress reigns supreme - one of which is for printing paper napkins and serviettes! Most of the wording is set up in metal type by hand and they are hand-printed on a platen press! So we can justly claim that all our napkins and serviettes are Craft-Printed!
