KCX Inc. Information

On December 27th, 2013 the assets of KCX Inc. were purchased by a group of current users of KCX software. The group created as KCX.V2 has been in negotiations with the owner of KCX, Steve Wilson since August of 2013. The goal was to create an investor group of current users and purchase the assets from Steve Wilson by the end of 2013.The investor group was formed from nine of the current users of KCX software. KCX has been providing retail based software and support for small to medium size retailers for over 30 years. The company was created by Steve Wilson and located in Kansas City, Missouri. It currently supports over 100 retail stores throughout country. The new company will be based in Richardson, Texas a suburb of Dallas. The new address is 1221 W. Campbell Road, Suite 195 and the new phone number is 214-396-6400. The new company board chairman, Daniel Henke, commented that “We are very excited to finalize this transaction. Our group of users/investors has always felt that the KCX software is solid and effective for our companies. This investment solidifies the future of the retail based software for us.” The new company plans to expand staff and services for current members as well as identify new users in the future.”Our most immediate goal is to create an even better staff of programmers for our current retail users. Many of our current users are growing and need expanded tools and reporting that KCX.V2 will provide.” said Henke. KCX software provides a unique niche in the market place for small to medium sized retail companies. The wide offering of retail based products all in one efficient yet economical package is not normally available. Point of sale, credit card processing, inventory control and distribution and e-commerce solutions have all been created, with the support and input of current retail professionals, in one easy to use product.
