Kaziranga University is one of the largest private universities in North-East India. With a lush, green 50 acre campus, the University is located near the city of Jorhat, in the state of Assam. With world class infrastructure, state-of-the-art educational facilities and research opportunities, KU was established under the Assam Private University Act No. XII of 2007, and has been promoted by the Trust under the banner of the North Eastern Knowledge Foundation (NEKF), a trust registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882. Founded in 2012 by the Khetan Industrial Group, KU has, in a limited span of time, created a benchmark of excellence under the dynamic leadership, guidance and supervision of Dr. Prashanta Kumar Mishra, the President of NEKF.
