Karma Volunteer Vacations Information

Karma Volunteer Vacations’ mission is to link travelers with orphanages and foster homes around the world. Our goal is to make it easy for those traveling on vacation or for work, alone or with family or friends, to spend time volunteering in a nearby orphanage. KVV is the world’s only website not charging hundreds or thousands of dollars to facilitate volunteering in orphanages. There are millions of orphans the world over who would greatly benefit from the efforts, positive energy, love and attention a volunteer can offer. KVV was founded in 2011 and is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The website is in Beta at this writing but has not been formally launched. (rev 9/2015) In 2013 our former ED accepted a role at Save The Children in Washington, DC and KVV has been non-operational until now. The founder is currently building a Board. Once the Board is in place we seek an ED with demonstrable nonprofit management and fund raising skills coupled with a steadfast passion to positively affect the lives of the world’s most marginalized people – orphaned children. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in not only the lives of orphans throughout the world, but also in the lives of the workers that care for the children as well as the lives of actual volunteers.
