Karen Ryan Information

"Most of her previous recordings have been as part of the excellent London Lasses, but the extra focus given by this album shows just what a fine fiddler she is" ~ The Folk Diary "Sweet and neat would not be a sufficient description of this no less than great recording. Musical sincerity and a yearning for the fifth dimension comes to mind" ~ Danny Meehan "This is a lovely CD from Karen displaying her numerous skills on a variety of instruments. She has a personal style with strong, rhythmical, expressive tones" ~ Brendan McGlinchey "On a kitchen shelf bursting with great fiddle albums by Peoples, Carty, McGlinchey, Collins and dozens more this Karen Ryan album will also now sit proudly ... touching the heart of traditional brilliance" ~ TradConnect.com "Livelier than a Camden pub on Paddy's Night, and more full of Irish spirit than the off-license across the street, this is a cracking new album" ~ Irish Music Magazine
