Nature-based projects are only as credible as the numbers behind them. Kanop is the MRV partner that makes those numbers rigorous, from feasibility to verification. We work with project developers, investors, standards and corporate supply chain teams to answer the questions that decide a project's outcome: is this land eligible, what will it remove, what does the baseline look like, and what has actually been achieved year after year. Across ARR, agroforestry, REDD+, mangroves, improved forest management and supply chain removals. Two things sit behind every answer. An infrastructure we built to run eligibility screening, dynamic baselines and monitoring at scale, with every step traceable for a validator. And a team of carbon scientists who apply it to each project's methodology, from ex-ante projections to PDD sections and monitoring reports. The standards trust the approach. Kanop is a Verra-vetted Data Service Provider for VM0047 dynamic baselines, Isometric's Earth observation data partner for the Biosphere Protocols and Equitable Earth's official biomass data provider, and we work alongside Gold Standard, Cercarbono, Plan Vivo and BioCarbon Standard on the methodologies that make digital MRV work. Underneath it all is our own data: aboveground biomass, carbon and land cover at 10m and 30m, anywhere in the world, annually since 2000. Built from optical, radar and LiDAR observations, calibrated with field and LiDAR data when a project has them, and always delivered with its uncertainty. More than 70 organisations rely on Kanop today. From feasibility to verification, we forecast and quantify carbon and nature outcomes.
