Founded by the late Michael Kailis and his wife Dr Patricia Kailis in 1962, the Company began by catching and trading small rock lobsters in Dongara WA. It's since grown to become a prominent seafood, pearl jewellery and marine company, locally and internationally. For over 40 years, the MG Kailis Group has been extensively involved in the seafood industry. Today, the Group's Seafood Division employs innovative methods to source and sell only the highest quality seafood within Australia and around the world. Having succeeded in making a name in the seafood industry, the Group went on to form Kailis Pearls in 1974. From its pearl farming beginnings, today Kailis is an inclusive and authentic luxury fine jewellery brand which is founded on the family’s passion to showcase the beauty of the Australian South Sea Pearl in modern yet timeless jewellery designs. With an extensive marine history the Group began building and designing boats early in the 1970s.
