K Sharp are leading experts in the field of Human Factors and are a registered consultancy with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors. We are a micro-SME, based in Carmarthen, Wales. K Sharp have been trading for over 14 years, and we primarily work in the Defence and Security domain. We have four parts to our business: • Human Factors Integration – our team provide HF SQEP expertise and assurance to platforms such as the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), Skynet 6 and Dreadnought submarine programme. • Human-focussed Research – we are currently Technical Leads within the ASTRID defence framework and have successfully delivered research tasks across R-Cloud, Serapis, ASTRID and other frameworks. • Human Factors Assessment Capability – we provide independent Human Factors assessment at all TRL levels, from early concepts, through to prototype demonstrations in the field with our mobile capability. We ensure solutions meet Human Factors requirements and provide validation evidence. • Human Factors Training – Expert training for all levels of Human Factors from awareness for decision markers to in-depth application for practitioners.
