K-Now is an innovation focused small medium enterprise born as a spin out company from the Department of Computer Science in The University of Sheffield in 2007 to commercialise research based technology. Traditionally, the company has focused on the provision of advanced knowledge platforms and portals for bringing together complex knowledge, information and data across organisation boundaries to enable stakeholders to easily search, browse and visualise data to support decision making. K-Now is now expanding its technology reach to the exciting world of crowd management and event security and have already provided technology to some of the largest festivals in the UK this summer with the potential to grow much further over the next years. Clients have ranged from The Floow Limited, Royal Botanical Gardens (Kew), Associated British Foods, Rolls-Royce, KPMG, Deloitte, Adelie Foods, R2C Online Limited, and more.
