Juven was conceived by the former Africa principal investing team of the Special Situations Group of Goldman Sachs to meet the needs of the emerging growth ecosystem for dedicated flexible capital and institutional support to enable businesses with high potential to scale, institutionalize and achieve successful outcomes. Juven makes investments of US$10 to 50 million across the capital structure in category-defining businesses pursuing large addressable markets in sectors including food, financial services, human and natural capital. In addition to flexible capital from a permanent capital base, Juven is resourced to accompany portfolio companies throughout their lifecycle with financial, legal, operational and strategic support, with a particular focus on the challenges faced in the transition from start-up to scaled-up organisations, international expansion and access to global capital markets.
