Jupiter Research Foundation Information

The Jupiter Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit scientific research organization. Established in 2003, the Foundation is dedicated to developing and applying new technologies for monitoring and understanding the natural world and sharing them with the public and the academic community. When these studies result in embodiments that have commercial value they may be pursued via appropriate joint ventures or the spin-off of independent commercial companies. One such venture resulted in the founding of Liquid Robotics, Inc. in 2007. We are currently engaged in research in the following areas: Instrumentation for Oceanic Studies; Wave Glider CO2 and Ocean Acidification Observation; The Electrical Behavior of Plants; Humpback Whale Song; HF Radio Propagation.
