JTA is structural engineering consulting firm who serve architects, builders, and other stakeholders. Mr. Jaramillo and Mr. Tonneson have been long time colleagues and worked together for previous firms prior to forming JTA in 2015. JTA believes the most important activity a consultant does in performing the job is to listen. Listen to the client’s needs, and then advise on the appropriate course of action. JTA considers the programming of the building, the use, how people, goods, and services enter and exit. JTA tries to understand the financial situation and make every attempt to ensure the structure is cost effective, satisfies architectural aesthetics, and allows the most efficient use. JTA's ability to communicate the design and the intent of the building code to non-technical persons is a priceless trait. JTA will try to relate and genuinely get to know their customers. JTA has experience with all major building materials and construction types. The project portfolio speaks for itself.
