JSSATE-STEP, Noida Information

JSSATE-STEP, Noida has been established in the year 2001 to nurture and develop techno-entrepreneurship in the region and to extend support to enable the grwoth of SME in the region. The STEP focusses in the ICT and Manufacturing industry sectors. It is a Registered Society under the Societies Registration act 1860. JSSATE-STEP, Noida received the National Award for the “Best Technology Business Incubator” in the country in the year 2004. The award is instituted by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. Of India. The main centres setup under the STEP are – i) Information Technology Business Incubator (ITBI) sponsored by the Dept. Of Science & Technology, Govt. Of India for nurturing ICT based start-up comapnies ii) Product Lifecycle Management Competency Centre (PLMCC) in association with the Govt. Of France and Dassault Systemes, France, for providing training and research in the area of PLM, iii) Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (CAMT) in association with ICICI Bank – Technology Institutions programme for providing machining and soft tooling support for SME in engg. Sector To complement the above we have setup an Entrepreneurship Development & Training cell that conducts awareness camps, training for setting up enterprises and also vocational training and escort services for small service enterprise creation.
