Mitre 10 has been a part of New Zealand’s home improvement culture since 1974. We are a co-operative of small and medium businesses owned by Kiwi families across the country, with 84 stores and a national support centre employing over 8,000 people and supporting more than 500 local suppliers throughout New Zealand. The country’s largest home improvement and garden retailer, we are also rapidly growing our trade and commercial business. As one of NZ’s most trusted and reputable brands, we are invested in the communities we are part of. Mitre 10 Helping Hands provides practical hands-on help to schools, sports clubs, charities, and community groups. Carter Holt Harvey Building Products (CHH Timber) leads the market with familiar brands such as Laserframe® and Pinex®. Carter Holt Harvey manufactures and markets a full range of wood-based building products. These products are manufactured and supplied from our three facilities and distributed across New Zealand.

Timberlink New Zealand was created in September 2015 when Timberlink Australia purchased the Blenheim sawmill from Flight Timbers. With two mills and a significant distribution network in Australia, Timberlink has already built a great reputation for its quality pine products and excellent service. Timberlink New Zealand is committed to bringing this same commitment to quality and service to our New Zealand customers. Timberlink attributes much of its success to its unique business model. We have one linked supply chain, from forest to processing to customer. Each of our sawmills (Blenheim, Bell Bay and Tarpeena) has direct access to some of the best plantation pine in the world, which we then process in our first-class mills.
