At Horseware, our mission is to “Make Life Better”. Everyday we come to work to try and make life better for the horse, the rider, our retail partners, our employees and the world. The company was founded in 1985 out of the necessity to make life better for the horse. Back then we had a very simple philosophy: “If you could send a man to the moon, we could make a horse rug that that didn’t leak, didn’t make the horse sweat and didn’t move when the horse rolled, and so the Rambo original rug was born”. Today, we are the global brand leader in horse rugs and equine products, selling to over 70 countries worldwide with more than 300 employees.

With over 50 years of experience, Shires Equestrian is one of the leading names in the equestrian industry. From humble beginnings, the company has evolved into a trusted household brand. Founded in 1968, the company has grown over the years but remains a family-owned business. Starting out by making rugs on a single sewing machine, Shires now has a team of in-house designers and employs approximately 400 people in their factory to keep up with demand.
