J Rayl Transport, Inc. (JRayl) is a family-owned and operated, full service transportation company. Tim Rayl and Jim St.John began with only 5 trucks in Akron, Ohio in response to the needs of local tire companies. Today, with over 400 employees, JRayl has Terminals or Yards located in Akron (Corporate Headquarters), Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Danville, Virginia; Houston and Dallas, Texas; and North Liberty (South Bend), Indiana. Since its inception in 1987, JRayl has strived to meet the needs of all customers through hard work and innovative strategic planning. JRayl has been able to maintain and expand its customer base through its ability to provide several logistics options for a variety of commodities. We have over 350 power units and 850 dry vans and 30 flatbeds servicing the United States. These units are strategically placed at our terminals depending on the needs of our customers. In addition, a full service brokerage, JRayl Logistics, LLC. provides our customers with cost saving solutions for all their transportation needs.
