Joti Foundation is a humanitarian organisation strengthening how communities anticipate, respond to, and recover from disasters. We work to shift disaster action from reactive relief to proactive resilience—ensuring families are supported in crisis and strengthened long before it strikes. Grounded in the belief that disaster response is ultimately about dignity, safety, and connection, Team Joti works through three core pillars: Rehabilitation — Rapid, dignified relief and recovery for disaster-affected communities. Readiness — Preparedness training, early-warning awareness, and capacity-building for schools, panchayats, and volunteers. Resilience — Long-term climate adaptation, inclusive DRR frameworks, community-led infrastructure, and behaviour change. Our work is shaped by five interconnected themes—People, Places, Pulse, Policy, and Planet—ensuring every intervention is human-centred, environmentally aligned, and institutionally grounded. From supporting communities affected by floods to building locally led systems that protect water security, climate resilience, and child wellbeing, Joti Foundation is committed to creating coherence where crises disrupt lives. Our mission is simple: to ensure every community has the power, tools, and confidence to withstand and recover from disasters—together.
