Jonker Dams Engineering is an independent dam engineering consultancy led by Marius Jonker, a Chartered Professional Engineer (Civil) with 35+ years of specialist experience in dams and hydropower. We provide dam engineering and dam safety expertise across the full asset lifecycle of planning, design, construction, operation, and decommissioning, guided by ANCOLD and ICOLD guidelines, regulatory requirements, and international industry practice. Our core services include independent technical reviews delivered through Technical Review Panel (TRP) appointments, and dam safety management services such as intermediate and comprehensive inspections and comprehensive risk assessments. We also provide subject matter expertise (SME) and owner's engineer (OE) services on dam engineering projects, working in collaboration with partners’ and clients’ teams.
