Humanitas is er voor mensen die op eigen kracht iets willen doen aan een situatie. Bij ons vind je de tools om weer verder te kunnen. Ruim 18000 goed getrainde vrijwilligers bieden nu gratis professionele steun op maat aan ruim 57.800 deelnemers. Deze steun bieden wij binnen zes verschillende thema's: eenzaamheid, verlies, opvoeden, opgroeien, detentie en thuisadministratie. Humanitas werkt kleinschalig en persoonlijk. De contacten zijn van mens tot mens en worden lokaal georganiseerd.

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 7 million supporters, members and activists in over 150 countries and territories who campaign to end grave abuses of human rights. We are independent of any government, political ideology, economic interest or religion, and are funded mainly by our membership and public donations. With around 255.000 members, Amnesty the Netherlands is one of the larger sections.

Our methods Amnesty International addresses governments, intergovernmental organizations, armed political groups, companies and other non-state actors. Amnesty International seeks to expose human rights abuses accurately, quickly and persistently.

Niemand wil slachtoffer zijn. Als je toch geraakt word door een strafbaar feit, verkeersongeval of calamiteit (of als je persoonlijke of professionele ‘helper’ bent) sta je niet alleen. Je kunt bij ons terecht voor hulpexpertise, emotionele steun, hulp in het strafproces of bij het vergoed krijgen van schade. We wijzen je de weg en geven handige tips waar je meteen mee aan de slag kunt.
