Johnston Millwork has been a family owned business since 1983. JMI was originally started and owned by Bob Johnston Sr. In 1993 it was purchuced by Mike & Cheryl Hochstatter. Nineteen years later, Mike and Cheryl still own and operate the company along with their daughter, Lisa Slack. We moved from 444 Hurlingame Ave. Redwood City, CA 94063 in 2008 to our new location at 837 Second Ave. in Redwood City. Moving our large machinery was challeging but it was well worth the effort. We now have enough space to house our custom and pre-hang shop under one roof. We invite you to come and check out our new location and the work being done to provide our customers with a Showroom displaying doors, windows, moulding, hardware, columns, and glass samples.
