Johnson Lumber Company was opened January 1, 1980 by Keith D. Johnson. We supplied large, multi-unit residential and commercial products until 1992 when we moved to our current location. At that time, we were able to expand our product line to include a full line of fencing and decking material, moldings, building materials as well as a full line of engineered lumber. We opened our first ACE Hardware store at our present location in 1992, allowing us to further serve our customers with a broader assortment of other building and hardware related products. In 1997, we opened a second ACE Hardware store in Hollister. This was followed closely by the opening of our full-service door shop in 1998. A third ACE Hardware store opened in Salinas in November of 2001. We are excited to announce Johnson Garden Center, opened in Morgan Hill during April of 2007. The Garden Center is a full service nursery including a unique gift shop. We are proud of the reputation we have earned over the years and we continue to be family owned and operated.
