Biblio was founded in 2003 by an internet bookseller and former bookstore owner. Since that time, Biblio has established itself as the world’s largest independent marketplace for rare & collectible books, with sites operating in the U.S. (Biblio.com), the U.K. (Biblio.co.uk), Australia (Biblio.com.au) and New Zealand (Biblio.co.nz). Additionally, we manage marketplace sites for both the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA.org, since 2009) and Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA.org, since 2005). We work with 5,500 booksellers in 75 countries and have served millions of customers over the years.

Ayr Hill Books is an online rare and collectible book business launched in 2017 by owners Jack and Paula Bruggeman. We are located in Vienna, Virginia, in the heart of Fairfax County and the greater Washington, DC metro area. We are lifelong book lovers and collectors and overall devotees of the printed word in all its finer forms. We come to our new venture after enjoying successful careers in book selling and publishing, writing, editing, and journalism. Ayr Hill Books is the product of several years of preparation that includes completion of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar in 2015, an intense weeklong professional course that covered all aspects of independent book selling. We are grateful to the CABS faculty who encouraged, taught, inspired and helped us arrive where we are today.
