We support and fund the education and training of music librarians in the UK and Ireland. We also fund research projects related to music libraries, librarianship, and bibliography. The Music Libraries Trust was founded by and remains closely affiliated with the UK and Ireland branch of the International Association of Music Libraries.
Malcolm is married to Frances; they have have two daughters and four grandchildren; after living most of their lives in Birmingham, they moved to East Sussex, where Malcolm was Vicar of the parish of St. Richard, Heathfield , now retired they live in Northiam, where he continues his ministry and bibliographic work. In June 2012 they were proud to be one of the thousand boats in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant , an experience during which their spirits were never dampened, although their bodies certainly were. These days, Malcolm is often to be found as a stationmaster on the Kent & East Sussex Railway , while Frances plays in several local orchestras. See some boats music performance sets in libraries.
