Joe Scannell is a New York City-based photographer, specializing in portrait, engagement, family, event and wedding photography. In 2014, Joe was commissioned in the United States Navy as a Reserve Public Affairs Officer. Through the Navy, Joe was introduced to the world of photography and experienced first-hand how impactful and powerful a photo can be. After falling in love with the art of photography, Joe dove headfirst into learning everything he could about the craft. Starting with a Nikon D5300 and a few friends, Joe built a portfolio of headshots and portraits and things took off from there.
