Equestrian Australia (EA) is a recognised National Sporting Organisation and the governing body for equestrian sport in Australia. EA offers programs to members from grassroots participation right through to elite. A sport that attracts members aged 6 to 66 years old, equestrian sport appeals to a large cross section of the population. One of the few Olympic sports where men and women compete on equal terms, it is also the only sport that involves two athletes - horse and rider.

Objectives of Pony Club •To encourage people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding •To provide instruction in riding and horsemastership and to instil in members the proper care of their animals. •To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline
