JMW Systems Ltd Information

JMW was originally founded in 1946 as an electrical engineering business with two branches in Edinburgh. JMW were instrumental in the installation and repair of Mass X-ray systems and in electronic fuel pumps. Since the early 1980’s the company diversified into design and manufacture of electronic equipment such that by 1990 these were the sole products. In 1992 the Bus Priority products were developed and launched which in turn lead to the research and development of Bus Priority Systems. These products have since won the government Clear Zone award for technology and are installed throughout the UK. JMW were one of the first companies to be accredited to ISO 9001 2000 and other relevant standards as well as being active members of their trade Association from 1946. JMW are members of the Electrical Contracting Association of Scotland (Trading as SELECT) and the Real Time Information Group (RTIG). Over the last 20 years, JMW have gained vast experience in delivering Real Time Passenger Information Systems which satisfies their customers expectations and provides a reliable and robust system. JMW’s highly skilled and committed team of engineers work to a high standard ensuring that projects are completed within the desired timescales. As a company we are constantly working to develop new innovative technologies whilst being self-financing.
