J.L. Becker, a Gasbarre Furnace Group Company, is your single source for virtually any kind of heat treating equipment: Box furnaces, tempering furnaces, tip up furnaces, car bottom furnaces, batch and continuous furnaces for annealing, hardening, tempering and brazing. Our line of box furnaces includes high efficiency reheat furnaces, atmosphere tempering systems, and standard batch tempering systems. Mesh belt furnaces, pit furnaces, batch washers, and much more complete the product offering. J. L. Becker Company began in 1970 as a manufacturer's representative for five major component part suppliers for both captive and commercial heat-treaters. Our furnaces, gas generators and auxiliary equipment have been manufactured under our company name since 1974. All design, engineering and assembly are completed in our facility in Plymouth, Michigan. In February 2011, Gasbarre Products, Inc., purchased the J. L. Becker Company. For Gasbarre, the acquisition of J.L. Becker was an excellent strategic and synergistic fit within the group, because the J. L. Becker line of heat treating equipment complements the Sinterite continuous belt furnace line, as well as the C. I. Hayes vacuum and pusher furnace lines.
