Jiro-Ve is a social enterprise which aims is to make renewable energy accessible to people in Madagascar. Through our unique business model which uses local business people, we make high quality solar products available to people who would otherwise use expensive candles and kerosene which negatively affects their health. Jiro-Ve means in Malagasy “do you want light?, we got light!” This is currently true for all the members we are serving starting from 2012 on.
