Movia er Danmarks største trafikselskab. Vi rådgiver og betjener Region Hovedstaden, Region Sjælland samt de 45 kommuner i de to regioner i spørgsmål om kollektiv trafik og mobilitet. Vi er en offentlig virksomhed og drives efter Lov om Trafikselskaber. I Movia arbejder godt 300 køreplanlæggere, økonomer, ingeniører, arkitekter og rådgivere for at nå vores mål om flere og mere tilfredse passagerer, en grønnere kollektiv trafik, mere mobilitet og en styrket Flextrafik. Desuden sørger medarbejderne i vores Trafikservice for at vedligeholde stoppestederne og gennemføre billetkontroller. Som medarbejder i Movia bliver du en del en af en altid aktuel dagsorden, og du er med til at skabe de løsninger, som gør den kollektive trafik attraktiv og stadigt mere miljørigtig. Den daglige ledelse varetages af direktionen. Vores navn, "Movia", er sat sammen af de to latinske ord "movere", som betyder ”at bevæge sig”, og "via", som betyder ”vej, rute eller rejse”.
